A plot or piece of land from which business like light, medium scale and heavy industries can operate comes under industrial land space land use. Such land or plot incudes plants, storage,warehouses and shipping facilities. Types of industrial and environmental concern may limit industrial use and in modern cities generally development authority of that city governs and allocates sector space or industrial zones for the development of the city. Normally any commercial establishments, manufacturing plants, public utilities, mining, distribution of goods or services, administration of business activities, research and development facilities, warehousing, shipping transporting , stock piling of raw material storage, manufacturing units etc. comes under this category.
